Qualcomm may have decide to launch their next generation chipset snapdragon 855. The chipset is comes “7nm technology” and comes with a dedicated ‘Neural Processing Unit ‘(NPU) which having approx 3 times better performance of their previous chipset. The company also said that it is the first time that an NPU is integrated into the SoC package. ( A neural processor or a neural processing unit (NPU) is a microprocessor that specializes in the acceleration of machine learning algorithms) . no matter to check their speed reason is that its having 7nm based technology and comes with clocked at 1.78GHz, three high-end cores clocked at 2.42GHz, and one top-performance “gold” core clocked at 2.84GHz. It will be coupled with Adreno 640 graphics processor, which will bring performance improvement. in addition of integration of snapdragon X24 modem that will provide 5g connectivity. Hope this chipset will be seen soon in early 2019.
